Guitar in the Garden

When we were kids, my dad had a favourite spot in the garden where he could catch the last of the sun when he got home from work. He would sit with his beer and play this song on his guitar. I wanted to re-create that feeling of summer when he had his guitar in the garden. He hasn't recovered enough yet to play it but he will get there.

The guitar model is based on the one my dad made when we were learning 3d modelling together. The trowel and gloves are from Poly Haven. The rest is my own work. The textures were all painted in Blender and the roses were drawn in using geo nodes. I kept the samples low and used the kuwahara filter to get the painterly look for the final render.
